Games, crafts and activities for kids can be found on both ends of the Festival grounds throughout the weekend. (Download a printable 2015 Heritage Fest Kids Guide for a complete overview.)

Grafelman Park

On both Saturday and Sunday, The Early Education Station will offer Kids Games & Activities on the Tennis Courts at Grafelman Park, near the corner of Washington and Fourth Streets in West Dundee. Games and crafts for early learners will work both fine and large motor skills. Games include hopscotch, child-sized basketball, Jr. Bags, Bozo Buckets, Life-Sized Connect 4; Crafts include making a picture frame, bingo dabber art, crayon melter art, stringing beads and temporary tattoos. Photo props will be available for families to capture the experience!

On Saturday, get active with kids fitness classes & demonstrations throughout the day - Check out the Fitness & Fun Run page for details.

On Sunday, the Dundee Township Park District will host fall favorites - Penny in a Haystack and Scarecrow Decorating - just east of the tennis courts. For Penny in a Haystack, kids are split into age groups to search the haystack for trinkets, candy, gift certificates or even coins. Build your very own Scarecrow to decorate for fall.

The Depot

New this year are Kids Games & Activities on the north side of The Depot in East Dundee. These include various game stations, art stations, matchbox racing and dress-up photo booth on both Saturday and Sunday. Magic shows will be held throughout the weekend and a silent movie will be shown on Saturday evening.

Kids and adults alike can also enjoy a ride on a trackless train along Railroad Street by the Caboose.
